Im not sure if you ever been up there but a lot of the WMAs have daily draw or limited first come hunting spots. If nothing squaw Creek nwr is a nice place to see numbers of snows like nowhere around here. Missouri's wildlife website has a listing of all the WMAs and hunting regs

We went and hunted eagle bluffs about 10 years ago. It's right close to Columbia. Had a ball and really worked on them. It's a daily draw but crowds were small during the week. If u can't find a guide. Good luck and post pics
