I had seen these last year, but didn't grab one until before early wood duck season this year. I threw a bunch of stuff in it, and tried it out and it worked better than I expected.

Some background about how and where I hunt. I usually hunt alone, and I try to get as far away from everyone else as possible. I don't have a boat, so most of the time I'm carrying EVERYTHING. I usually take a couple dozen decoys, marsh seat, shells, and shotgun. Hiking 1/2 mile to a mile through weeds, swamp, and everything else, I just needed an easier way.

The sled fits great into the back of my truck, nothing slid around or got out of the sled while I was driving. I had more than I needed for early season, but figured a little extra to test it out wouldn't kill me. I threw in 6 g-w teal, 4 mallard hens, and a pair of gadwalls, my marsh seat, shell belt, and 6 goose shells and heads.

If you are a solo hunter like I am, THIS WORKS GREAT. I could move faster, didn't have a huge sack of decoys on my back and everything banging into each other. It also works like a boat when I got to my little water hole, so setting up decoys and picking them up was a breeze. It is very thick plastic, so it didn't hardly get a scratch even dragging it through the little bit of gravel in the parking lot.

The only downside I would say is the price. Like everything else, its priced a little higher than I would have liked to pay. Additionally with a longer rope, you could probably pull it with a 4 wheeler, and possibly throw a deer in it if you're a deer hunter.

We've been using these for a few years also. Really, its worth the money even if you're only carrying your stuff a hundred yards or so. Beavertail makes one nearly identical for just a little less. I think it was on Amazon.

We use one to haul gear behind our pond boat. Not always enough room in the boat itself.

Great in the rice fields. Easier than carrying gear while trying walk in the gumbo.
